BENEFICIARIES OF AMARTI’S AFGHAN PROJECT:

 

1. trainees (1st pilot training) : 22 professionals (male and female), (m&w)educators & school teachers, female community health agents, psychologists, therapists and psychiatric nurses, doctors, miscellaneous arts professionals, professors and students, teachers in education

 

2. secondary beneficiaries : Children involved in the pilot training workshop

All children, youth and adults attending the trainees regular care activities (structures: schools, children and street children care centres, health & psychological care programs & stuctures; in- & outpatient & day hospital services of KMH). Indirect benefit may also be expected for some mothers, fathers, brothers/sisters of these children.

 

 

NATURE & CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PROJECTED TRAINING:

 

Project for the training of afghan art-therapies workers :

(condensed phase 1, pilot) :

.location : Kabul

.number of trainees : 22.

.type of trainees : selected professionals in health, mental health, education, arts professions , with the ability of transmittting the acquired skills within a therapeutic or artistic function in some institutions specialized or not, for the accompaniment or care of psycho-traumatisms (see structures).

.form & duration : 1 to 2 sessions/workshops (according to funding), plus 6 months observation of a pilot workshop realized on site with children, plus supervision.

.identified structures : schools, welfare centres for children and street children, orphanages, psychological and health care structures and programs for women; internal & external psychiatry services & day hospital , dispensaries .
